1987 VINTAGE ROLEX SUBMARINER REF. 5513 - FAINT SPIDERY BLACK DIAL

The Rolex Submariner 5513 is one of the most iconic dive watches ever made, produced from 1962 to around 1989. Beloved for its rugged simplicity and cultural cachet (famously worn by Roger Moore’s James Bond), it remains a collector favorite.

This 1987 example, produced near the end of the reference’s run, features the classic no-date layout, domed acrylic crystal, and a glossy dial with white gold indices—introduced around 1984. The caseback is stamped '5512', a known quirk of late-era 5513s, as Rolex often used casebacks interchangeably during this time.
